BC Sports Hall of Fame
The Honoured Members Reception presented by the BC Sports Hall of Fame Foundation was a remarkable event celebrating the 2024 Induction Class. Held on May 15th, 2024, from noon onwards at the BC Sports Hall of Fame, the event unveiled the plaques of the new Honoured Members in the Hall of Champions.

Event Atmosphere
The reception was an elegant affair, with a special VIP luncheon where the inductees were celebrated. The event kicked off with a delicious spread of delicacies for everyone to feast on ranging from cheese and fruit platters, wine,coffee as well as gluten free & vegan options for those with dietary restrictions. Everyone was catered for!
The atmosphere was filled with pride and admiration as the community; both family and friends honored these outstanding individuals and teams for their contributions to sports.
A special surprise was the birthday of Justin Morneau which happened to coincide with the festivities of the day…it was written in the stars! Geddit….stars.
Looking Forward
The event highlighted the achievements of the 2024 Induction Class, adding to the legacy of the BC Sports Hall of Fame. Since 1966, the Hall has inducted 452 individuals and 69 teams, celebrating excellence in sports.
